Women with PCOS often struggle with insulin resistance, which results in high blood sugar. Metformin and inositol can be prescribed by doctors in such cases. In the beginning, try eliminating sugar and processed carbohydrates from your diet and make sure you receive enough protein, fibre, and healthy fats.
